Placing an Order

How do I place an order?

The easiest and quickest way to place an order is through the website, but if you prefer you can call us on 0845 094 5830 and order by phone.

Using an Offer Code

I have just got an offer code from your newsletter, how do I use it?

Easy, add what products you want to the shopping cart, go through the normal checkout procedure and you will be given the option of entering the code on the payment page.

Please Note: If you wish to pay by paypal, then you need to go through the checkout procedure on our site instead of hitting the paypal express link in the shopping cart.

Delivery Charges/Times

How much will it cost me, and when will I get it?

All orders placed before 3:00pm are dispatched from our warehouse the same day via Royal Mail 1st Class or by our courier, subject to stock availability and security checks.

All our delivery charges are flat rate.

Standard UK Delivery – £0.00 (For all items) -Orders are typically delivered within 1-3 working days.

Next Day UK Delivery – £6.99 (For all small items, such as spare parts) -Orders are delivered the next working day.

Next Day UK Delivery – £7.49 (For all heavy/bulky items, such as Helicopters, Flight Cases etc) -Orders are delivered the next working day.

Outside UK (Within EU) – £9.99 (For all small items, such as spare parts) -Orders are typically delivered within 3-5 working days.

Outside UK (Within EU) – £24.99 (For all heavy/bulky items, such as Helicopters, Flight Cases etc) -Orders are typically delivered within 3-5 working days.

Outside EU – £14.99 (For all small items, such as spare parts) -Orders are typically delivered within 7-14 working days.

Outside EU – £44.99 (For all heavy/bulky items, such as Helicopters, Flight Cases etc) -Orders are typically delivered within 4-7 working days.

*Please note: Next Day, International and some larger Standard delivery’s will require a signature upon delivery.

Tracking Your Order

How do I find out where my order is?

Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse you will get a confirmation email.

  • Orders sent on our standard UK delivery service can not be tracked and take on average 1-3 working days.
  • Orders send using our Next Day UK delivery service can be tracked and will be delivered on the next working day.
  • Orders sent outside the UK can also be tracked and take on average 3-5 working days depending on the destination.
  • If your order has a tracking number, this will be included in your order dispatch notification email.
  • Please allow 7 working days (14 working days for international customers) before contacting us about not receiving your order.

Returns

My goods are faulty, what do I do?

If you have a faulty product, then please email us at Returns@RcMods.co.uk as soon as possible for a returns authorization code. Faulty or Damaged goods have to be returned within 30 days. As soon as we receive the return we will either replace or refund your initial method of payment as requested.

For RTF (Ready To Fly) Helicopters, there is a simple procedure. Any faults or concerns must be reported to us before you attempt to fly the model. If you attempt to fly the model it can not be classed as faulty and no refunds or returns will be accepted.

Although this sounds harsh unfortunately some customers will crash their models and then try and claim the model is faulty.

It is recommended full flight checks are carried out before flying.

We test every model before dispatch and include a test report, so it is very rare for customers to have any problems.

I have decided I don’t actually want what I ordered, what can I do?

That’s fair enough, all we ask is that the product has not been used and is in resalable condition i.e. the packaging is in perfect condition. Please email us at Returns@RcMods.co.uk as soon as possible for a returns authorization code. Upon receipt of your return we will refund you initial method of payment. Please note, the initial postage charge is not refundable. Nor will we cover the cost of returning an item. Goods must be returned within 30 days.

Christmas Returns Policy

If you like to be organized and get the Christmas shopping done early, then you can order from the end of October and take advantage of the extended returns policy which lasts until the end of January.
