Our RC Helicopters are separated in to three categories:

3 Channel RC Helicopters - This are the most basic and easy to fly models, they have very basic controls and can be flown up, down, left, right and can be spun on their axis. The 3 channel models make great gifts but are not fully controllable in all directions which does not give you the full flight experience.

4 Channel RC Helicopters - This is where we recommend you start. These models are fully controllable in all directions and you can learn many flight techniques which will give you a good understanding of flight allowing you to move up to a 6 channel model. Models such as the ESKY Honeybee V2 can be flown outdoors and will handle a gentle breeze with ease.

6 Channel RC Helicopters - These are advanced, fully aerobatic models which demand alot of still to control. They have alot more moving parts than the 4 channel models which means there is more to break in a crash! So we recommend starting with a more basic model which are easier and cheaper to repair should the inevitable happen!

When choosing a RC Helicopter its very important to consider the availability of spare parts, unfortunately crashing is part of the learning process and very few people are able to learn to fly without crashing. We keep large stocks of spare parts for our models and post orders fast so you will never be grounded for long!

If you are starting out with a large 4 or 6 channel helicopter we recommend you purchase a training stand which will help stop your model from tipping over when you are learning to take of and land.

We have a wealth of tips and information on learning to fly and general maintance of your helicopter, just check out the guides section of the website.
